Information users provide
Purrfect may collect information you provide when creating an account, choosing a role, setting language or appearance preferences, completing profile or readiness steps, requesting contact, sending support requests, submitting privacy requests, or reporting safety concerns.
Account, profile, and readiness information
This can include account identifiers, display name, role, city or area, adopter readiness answers, contact readiness details, lister profile details, listing status, contact preferences, and related timestamps or status history.
Pet listings and media
Lister content can include pet names, species, age, sex, photos, health notes, behavior notes, personality details, reason for rehoming, location context, and review or moderation status.
Phone and contact information
Phone or contact information is handled as purpose-limited information. It may be used to support account readiness, lister responsibility, listing contact preferences, protected contact requests, direct contact flows, support, safety review, and abuse prevention.
Protected and direct contact flows
When the contact flow allows it, relevant listers may receive or access the contact details needed for a specific adoption or rehoming conversation. Phone sharing is not a general public listing feature and should not be reused outside that purpose.
Reports, blocks, moderation, and safety logs
Purrfect may keep reports, block records, moderation actions, audit records, contact activity records, and safety review notes to operate the service, investigate abuse, enforce rules, protect users, and preserve review integrity.
Analytics, diagnostics, and error monitoring
Purrfect may use privacy-conscious analytics, diagnostics, and error monitoring to understand product health, fix bugs, improve performance, and protect the service. These tools should not be used to store passwords, private contact values, report text, signed URLs, or secret tokens.
How information is used
- To create accounts, show relevant public pages, operate adoption and rehoming workflows, and maintain language and appearance preferences.
- To review listings, handle contact requests, support protected/direct contact, respond to support requests, and process privacy or deletion requests.
- To prevent abuse, investigate reports, enforce community rules, preserve safety audit history, and improve service reliability.
When information may be shared
Information may be shared with the user you choose to contact when the supported flow allows it, with service providers that help operate the app, or when needed for safety, abuse prevention, legal obligations, dispute handling, or protecting the rights and safety of Purrfect, users, pets, or others.
Retention and deletion
Purrfect keeps information as needed to operate accounts, listings, contact flows, reports, support, privacy requests, safety reviews, and audit records. You can request account deletion. We will explain the applicable processing steps and timing through the approved deletion workflow; limited records may be retained for approved safety, abuse-prevention, legal, or operational reasons.
User rights and choices
You can contact Purrfect to ask about your account information, request correction where appropriate, request deletion, report a privacy concern, or ask how your information is used. Children and minors
Purrfect is intended for people who can responsibly manage adoption or rehoming decisions. Minors should use the service only with appropriate parent or guardian involvement, and Purrfect may remove information if it believes an account cannot validly take part in these decisions.
